Shine On
I see the shimmers of another side
from whence my soul comes
and the truth resides
Above the horizon,
below the tides,
inside your memories
yet escaped mine eyes
A dull grey sky appears to be;
somehow, with my eyes,
it’s not what I see
A world projected
with reality speed
your brain’s the antenna
this moment- frequency received
This whole place is a playground
the smoky room you go
see, but then you feel, you live it.
Taste, smell, and sweat beads
the soul soars and bubbles
yet inside, yet free
my soul knows no trouble
peace forsakes body
But with pain there is beauty
rainbow shimmers in skies
when my feet get weary
I walk to the side
off the road, on the ground
on the soft Earth, I love
Warmth and good vibes
pure strength from above
Recompense with loving
Will what’s to be
This is our time
life will abide
Shine with me

Lucky Bird
How lucky the bird is to fly
to sing all the while
just leaving a world behind
How dismal are thoughts
of the man
who toils with uneasy mind
Thinking and standing
he sighs:
“How unfair this weakness of mine.”
And wiping the sweat from his brow
still he grunts
and pushes his plow
“The fish gets to swim
through all the oceans
and breathe underwater with ease,
The dolphins and whales
or girls with fish tails
all swim ‘round
and do what they please
yet nary do I
have such kind respite
I toil and work for the man
to pay all my bills
it’s kill or be killed
I work ‘til I no longer stand…”
That night before dinner
he feels a sinner
for the anger he felt all the day
Hands clasped so tight
he tries as he might
but can’t keep a teardrop away
“Oh, God, can’t you see,
I’ m ‘lone and displeased?
Oh, Lord, won’t you give me a sign?”
Then came a surprise
when he opened his eyes
lay the roast duck
he shot for the meal
“No shit,” thought the man
still unclasping his hands
“how could I have been
so damn blind.
It’s here that I sit
on the Earth’s precipice
and forsake life
whose traits I demand
How lucky am I
to swim and to fly
with machines that yet
destroy the lands
This life I am given on Earth
Brings me luck
that’s inherent from birth.”
Brand new full-length demo of LUNA!
Ghostly echoes and brewing storms, oh yes.
I tweaked the EQ of this demo since the last post and it is now, “the coolest song I’ve ever heard,” says Chris Cheeks :)

Get the hell outta Kansas and come join the hippies in Oregon. The pacific northwest and the west coast has puhhhhlenty to offer!
How you like yo’ eggs, fried or fertilized?
For hysterical and indifferent responses in lieu of overwhelming emotional reactions to stress!!
Still I think I’m a lucky guy/
I got the sun in the morning/
and the moon at night//
Got no mansion got no yacht/
Still I’m happy with what I’ve got/
I got the sun in the morning/
and the moon at night
Reminds me of that Episode of Doctor Who where they’re on the harvesting ship taking fuel from an Alien sun, but then it turns out the the alien sun is alive and has infected the crew to take revenge and kill everyone! So, the Doctor gets himself infected so that he can make everything right again and he almost explodes! Of course he doesn’t, and everything is a-okay, as long as they don’t rape the sun anymore.

*yawwwwn* ” I just woke up from a nap in the ‘90’s”-style my hair takes on after a day or so. Looks like the original Blue Ranger a little. I was him for Halloween :).
And I held my own
Still I rattled your bones
I said some awful things
and I take them back
If we would try again
Just remember when
Before we were lovers
I swear we were friends
